Hi there. I am Martine Hackett and I am a public health researcher and writer who teaches at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
Martine Hackett is a sociologist and public health professional whose research interests include maternal-child health, SIDS, infant injury, health communication and health disparities. Her previous work experience is as a deputy director at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's Bureau of Maternal, Infant and Reproductive Health and as a television producer.
